Starting November 1, Hushu House will open in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Hushu means: Help Us Help U. This is a place where people with and without residence papers can receive information and support. The Red Cross Amsterdam-Amstelland plays a coordinating role in this. Various organizations in Amsterdam Zuidoost collaborate to warmly welcome these individuals, listen to their stories, and answer their questions. They also provide support and refer them to other organizations if needed. Hushu House also offers warm showers, a place to wash clothes, rest areas, and courses. If you enjoy being the first person to welcome visitors, the Hushu team is looking for you!
