Why?
Displaced populations currently depend on already limited access to clean, safe, and potable drinking water and water for domestic use in the host communities. If not controlled, it may bring competition and violence to access this scarce commodity between the refugees and the host communities. Further to this, the prevalence of COVID-19 and the potential for community transmission within informal and temporary shelter areas and arrangements must be considered as an essential focus in the need for water provision, hygiene training and improving hygiene practices
