Supporting the elderly in increasing their resilience through creating a safer living environment and increasing their social networks Elderly people are often lacking a social network as family members migrate away from Curacao, and loneliness is a big issue on the islands. With an increased social network, they can alert others of their situation, and social activities increase the well-being of individuals. Volunteers will also assess the safety in the homes of beneficiaries with the aim to improve their living situations. Curacao
