Why?

To reduce food and economic insecurity in chronic emergency and enhance well-being for the most vulnerable population in Juba – South Sudan, through increasing economic production and enhancing life skills among the youth in Juba – South Sudan. Cyclical conflict and natural disasters continue to negatively affect the population living in South Sudan. Rural and urban areas of South Sudan face a multitude of challenges as a consequence of combined impacts of prolonged violence and repeated shocks. The population continues to suffer from chronic lack of access to food, loss of livelihoods assets, dysfunctioning markets, destroyed infrastructure among others. The disfunctioning markets have affected the social positioning and well-being of the youth in the society, which results in frustrations hence violence tendencies and misbehaviours among young people. Women are mostly affected by this situation as they are often the first target of violence. Juba, South Sudan
