Why?
This project is a top up of Echo project Haïti SUD-EST, to be able to answer on most urgent needs while not jeopardizing running projects (drillings of waterholes). The target areas is suffering immensely from the consequences of Hurricane Matthew. Sitrep 11 from OCHA shows that Sud is the 2nd most hit department after Grand Anse. There are serious needs on Food Security, Education, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Child Protection Early Recovery, Shelter and NFIs. Operation is made difficult through the damaged infrastructure and communication lines. Grand Gosier, SUD-est region
What?
This project improves acces to water by drilling of water holes as a result of a geo hydrological study that proved the presence of water in the area of Grand Gosier.
