Why?
This is a pilot project for desludging faecal sludge from toilets in difficult areas in Malawi. This pilot is to determine the role and responsibility of stakeholders within a de-sludging project. The pilot will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi.
What?
Working with local authorities on the pilot, site identification will be done together with WASTE, recruitment will be done from MRCS volunteers to operate the equipment,
Who?
Several stakeholders will attend the pilot, including local authorities, WASTE and MRCS.
