Why?
In May 2016 a large scale military offensive by Iraqi security forces on the town of Fallujah displaced tens of thousands of people. In period from May to June more than 5,000 people were displaced from Nineveh/Mosul, and 14,000 displaced from Salah al-Din. The total number displaced stands at 131,000 since March, 100,000 of which displaced since May. This programme offers assistence to the displaced.
