This project delivers emergency assistance and humanitarian relief to 2,000 flood-affected households (10,000 people). The start of the rainy season in mid-June 2017 has brought more challenges with flash floods recently affecting over 70,535 people across 8 states of Sudan, causing destruction of houses, latrines, schools and key infrastructure such as roads and bridges. This project takes place in the states of Northern, Khartoum and River Nile.
Emergency assistance to flood-affected populations will be provided through the distribution of non food items, delivering water, sanitation, and hygiene and health campaigns, and providing emergency shelter.
This project reaches 10,000 people (2,000 households).
