Why?
The overall objective of the operation is to meet the immediate shelter, WASH and health needs of
1,500 households (7,500 people) affected by flooding and incoming Cyclone IDAI in Zambezia, Sofala, Manica, and
Tete provinces of Mozambique. Hygiene promotion will, however, allow the operation to reach the totality of displaced
households which amounts to 17,095 people (3,419 households) currently sheltered in accommodation centres.
