Why?
The goal of the programme is to reduce the impact of disasters through improving the response preparedness and capacities of six national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies: improving the functioning of national and international response mechanisms, strengthening (human) disaster-management capacity and contingency plans. This subactivity provides funding for the annual meeting 2014.
